Intimity At Home

The Intimity At home project is a documentary creation on the subject of the family.
Or rather, MY family.
Home is about the people I love. I photographed what surrounds their daily lives: objects, actions, moments in the kitchen, intimate dances in the bedroom… all these things.
I really enjoyed doing a project that was more rooted in reality. I like documentaries and they’ve always interested me as a viewer.
I never saw myself as a potential documentary photographer, but in reality I think I can be both the artistic director of a fashion photo and a 22-year-old who’s curious about the world she lives in.
I have a lot of ideas about the future of my documentary work.
I wanted to show this first project in its entirety before continuing with anything else.
It’s a terribly messy series of photos, I didn’t have much time, few opportunities, but I love this little baby because it illustrates the beginning of something bigger.

Everyday observations about love, family, a particularly normal day.

Or a abnormal day.

In this story photography allows us to get closer to reality. Art brings us closer to the bodies, to the souls of people, to the warmth of home.
